As an experienced Thompson Grinder, you will design methods of manufacturing, and set up and operate multiple, manual-surface and automated grinders. Additionally, you will inspect parts from other departments, verify dimensions and evaluate time dedicated to each task. Your recommendations regarding improved operations will be encouraged. Both domestic and international travel is part of this position.
To qualify, you should be a high school graduate (or hold a GED). Years of experience are not important, but the ability to operate a large, hydraulic surface grinder while holding to tolerances of .0001 is.
