Team-focused work environment
Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
Observe ESD precautions to prevent damage to sensitive equipment.
Solder-tin wire, splices, (lap/hook) connections.
Identify faulty components, components installed incorrectly, and detect other quality defects.
Perform electronic testing of assemblies of basic to intermediate complexity.
Perform basic electronic/ functional troubleshooting for assemblies of basic to intermediate complexity that do not pass the accepted test procedures.
Adjust or replace defective components to meet established standards.
Maintain accurate records on paper and/or computer.
Prepare wire, parts and components for assembly.
Build various cables that are used in a diverse group of product lines.
Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing assembly tasks such as wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability concentrate on detailed projects.
Be proficient with various hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret assembly prints, wiring diagrams and procedures sheets.
Physical Requirements
Good manual dexterity
Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
Ability to reach within hands/arm's length, stoop, kneel and crouch.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision. Must have visual acuity to read prints and interpret color codes on wires and components:
Near Vision: Jaeger 1 at 35.5 cm (14 in.), reduced Snellen 20/20 or equivalent - testing both eyes together. Far Vision: Snellen 20/30 minimum when testing both eyes together. Color Vision: average.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
