Regulatory Affairs AssociateDuties and responsibilitiesEnsure regulatory compliance with relevant regulations and effectively managing timely submissions to the appropriate regulatory authoritiesManage the preparation of applications and subsequent regulatory documents, pre and post approval in accordance with agreed time framesReviews label compliance and other regulatory information for customer contentEnsure submission-readiness of all regulatory documents required for any project or productEnsure that documents to be submitted to the agencies or customers are compliantAssist in risk assessment and implement regulatory strategies for products in pre and post-approval stages.
Participate in R&D meetings to discuss project issues and adhere to priorities developed by the Regulatory Affairs ManagerDevelop and maintain a positive working rapport with the clients and regulatory agenciesMaintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, including proposed and final rulesTracking, compiling, and maintaining site regulatory files.
Provides regulatory advice and guidance to other departments to ensure compliance with regulations as appropriateQualificationsTwo-to-four-year degree in food science or other scientific discipline recommendedTwo years of relevant job experienceAbility to read and write EnglishStrong verbal communication skillsMathematical aptitudeWorking conditions & Physical RequirementsPhysical dexterityAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to push/pull 250lbs on bar or pallet jackAbility to regularly use ladders and stairs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
